I should say first of all that I think there is a bit of the 'emporer's new clothes' about the whole 'LED' TV business - after all 'LED' TVs are actually just LCD screens with LED back lighting. So if you are not caught up in the LED hype then this TV is a great buy at a couple of hundred quid less than a virtually identical 'LED' model. You get a lot of TV for your money with built-in FreeviewHD, Good connectivity (inc 3xHDMI and a USB port) and a crisp, sharp Full HD screen. The picture quality is excellent and it copes as well with fast moving action as any other LCD or LED TV I've watched (if you want superfast refresh rates then buy plasma!). I withhold the final star because (in common with many TVs without front facing speakers) the sound quality is OK but not as rich and deep as I would like. However, I suppose the expectation is that most folk will plug this TV into s Home Cinema system or sound bar. Looks-wise it is a nice enough unit - not a stunning looker, but not ugly either. 6 of 17 people found the following review helpful

I bought one of these from a local supermarket at a knock-down price. I mistakenley read "LCD" as "LED." I would have upgraded my super 37 inch Panasonic LED TV for a song. My mistake was not realising I was buying an LCD not an LED TV.Got it home, set it up, and hated it. This LCD is incapable of holding a moving image without horrible smear. Details are lost. A talking head moves a little and becomes mush. I really can not emphasise the poor nature of this LCD display when compared to an LED TV. There are very few controls for the picture quality, unlike the LED version.
I'm not given to writing one star reviews, but if you want a good picture buy the best LED TV over any LCD TV. Got my money back double-quick.
