Bought just before christmas for my Sister, IT was delivered within the timescale said, Left with my neighbour as requested, intime for christmas, wrapped up n One Very Happy Sister ripped it open with joy, n Couldnt wait to play her iphone music on it.... Very Happy indeed, only one little issue found, it kept jumping the music back to the begining of the song or album??? Couldnt work it out??? Any suggestions??? Would be greatfully Appreciated!!!

I purchased the idice for my nine-year old daughter. Given the amount of ipod speakers on the market it took a bit of research to find something that would offer a decent sound without looking too cutesy.

The idice is a good size and reassuringly heavy. It is about the size of an ipads width (cubed), if that makes sense. There are two speaker sets, two little tweeters set into the dots of the dice at the front and a bass unit on the bottom side of the dice. Weirdly, the four sides of the dice on the sides are all number fives! That confused me but there you go. There are a couple of spots on top which function as buttons for playing and skipping tracks.

There is a little credit card remote control that works wells and an aux-in (cable included) for the non apple users.

The sound is actually pretty good for what is aimed as a desktop ornament, it is fairly meaty and, whilst not quite up to audiophille standards, offers a good, room-filling sound that more than satisfies the young un's.

The ipad slot on top is pretty neat too as you can watch videos whilst blasting the sound out through the idice, a feature we use mor than I thought.

All in all, probably one of the better kid/novelty ipod speaker sets on the go right now and it does not compromise on sound quality even though it is not aimed at audio geeks and purists.

Recommended.
