This is our first experience of a LED projector and we are delighted with it. We use it for illustrating talks in village halls etc. It is very light and portable, and performs well even in lit rooms, excellent if the room is darkened. The ability to use it wish a USB stick, rather than a laptop, simplifies arrangements considerably. The controls on the top of the projector are a little fiddly, but the availability of a remote allows this slight difficulty to be overcome. Would strongly recommend it to others.

We have owned the projector for 18 months now and it's been a cracking little unit, very compact and ideal for transporting around and in theory a long working life.Unfortunately the power socket failed recently despite very little use (less than 20 hours).
After three phone calls being passed from pillar to post I eventually managed to speak to someone at Samsung who told me it was out of warranty. I told them the warranty card said 36 months. They then told me it was 24 months (website also says 36 months) but it was accidental damage as the projector was designed to be bolted to a the roof and not moved around! I told them they were talking rubbish!!
It's a real shame, the unit is great but on the basis of this experience with Samsung I wouldn't purchase a Samsung projector again, they clearly will try everything to try and avoid honouring their warranty.

Not having a laptop I needed a projector as I was giving a talk at my local club with my slides. This type of projector seems to be improving recently and this model supersedes the previous one with an increased light output. I am confident I have made the correct choice and am confident of giving my talk, with slide support, at the end of March.
