Bought this TV for our conservatory and was disappointed from the outset.The picture lacks brightness of colour no matter how it is adjusted and is only acceptable after dark,this set replaced a Panasonic 19" but is nowhere near
as good in almost all respects.
The remote control is fiddly to operate,has very small buttons and the programme guide will only allow the current event to be displayed plus the next
hour,if you want to set an event to record in three hours time its not possible.
The only plus point is the sound quality is o.k.
Would not recommend this item at all.

My girlfriend just bought one of these to watch Freeview TV and motivational cycling videos while on her exercise bike. Setup was easy. It's not beyond the wit of most people to screw four screws through a plastic cover plate and into the back of the TV. A clip on arrangement might be quicker, but this is not rocket science.What particularly impressed was that the TV found 146 digital channels while scanning, and that was when fed by nothing more than an indoor loop aerial hanging off the curtain rail. My two far more expensive Sony TVs can do no better with full sized aerials (one each) up in the loft.
Picture is OK, improved a little by switching from dynamic to natural, but as it's not for me I have not tried fine tuning the settings further. The let down is the sound. It really lacks any kind of bass and oomph, which is a shame for a TV that should be pumping out music to exercise too. Maybe I can rig something up with a spare mini HiFi system I have.
As for the DVD player. You stick a DVD in the slot and after a few seconds it starts to play. There were some very nasty artefects around some digital wording on the screen, which might be part of the source material, but the rest of the picture is satisfactory and more than good enough for the intended purpose.
All in all, a decent set, stylish and competent, well featured (builtin DVD was a strong preference) and at a very fair price. The only let down is the sound, so four stars rather than five. (My girlfriend thinks it deserves five, but I know better :))
