Absolutely fantastic, well pleased with the purchase. Have converted old VHS tapes to blu-ray format, no problem in playing these disks.

I DONT NO IF I WAS JUST UNLUCKY BUT THIS B LUE RAY PLAYER JUST WOULD NOT WORK. WENT TO ARGOS BROUGHT ANOTHER MAKE PLUGGED IT IN AND HEY PRESTO!!! WORKED FINE.

This player is compact and very quick. It is much less temperamental than my more expensive Pioneer player and I find that it reads discs that the Pioneer rejects. Very good value.

Bought this Blue ray to match my newly purchased Full HD LG 42" TV. Both machine marry up perfectly and both remotes interact. The machine plays the discs perfectly and I have no problems with the display quality, it is however in my view a very Basic machine does just what it's says on the box but that's all, no bells or whistles. In hineside probably should have paid a little bit more for a more advance machine.

Easy enough to set up, smaller in size and quiet in operation compared to the Phillips model it replaced.
The battery supplied with the remote were DOA.
The remote buttons do need some hard pressing at times before anything happens which is a bit annoying when using fast forward.

The player does on occasion stick and can take its time to start up and has frozen on the odd disc.
Overall not great but not bad for the price paid.
Not something i would recommend though.

I'll keep it short and sweet. You want a second player for your bedroom/guestroom? Well look no further. This little beauty(emphasis on the little)delivers on all the important fronts. Picture and sound quality out-perform my other(more expensive)player and DVD playback is the best i've seen. All these other players that boast of near HD quality up-scaling are put in the shade by this machine. I can honestly imagine that i won't have to upgrade a lot of my DVD collection now as they have been given a vibrant new life!! If you want a lot of bells and whistles look elsewhere. If you want a player that plays discs amazingly well and is dirt cheap, this is the business.

Noting earlier reviews, I have had this machine for over a year and it works very well. There were some issues with the operating system of the machine, which I found out about when trying to play some newer bluray disks (thanks to LoveFilm for help with that). Connecting machine to internet and downloading new firmware fixed the problem. It has worked very well for the price. Recommended.

This arrived within two days of being ordered, very good. Just one small problem, it didn't work. I switched it on and set up showed on the machine but nothing showed on the tv. I tried a disc, still nothing, sent it back the next day, very disappointing.

received product but stupidly did not try it out until i left for work overseas.

will not play or read any disks just wirrs round and round.LG BP120 Blu-ray Player
