Had a few problems with delivery but worth the wait. Still have to run speaker wires but not so far. Very simple to connect and a lot less hassle to run wires from the back of the room if you have a larger lounge as i do. Very good product and well worth the purchase.

Having had a new carpet fitted, i didn't want to disturb it by running wires for my surround sound all around the room. I googled this item to go with my Samsung TV and Samsung Blu-Ray system and it was really easy to install. I put the wireless card into the slot in the blu-ray machine and plugged the adaptor into the mains. I used the shorter wires to link the rear speakers to the adaptor kit - which are all hidden behind the sofa. I need to get another surge protected extension plug as the adaptor warns you to unplug it during thunderstorms though.

Got fab surround sound booming out now.

I was a bit cautious about buying the Samsung SWA-5000 to go with my Samsung HT-E4500 Surround Sound Blu-Ray Player on the basis that other reviews around the internet seemed to be very mixed with a lot of people having problems setting up or with distorted sound coming from them.

However I am really pleased that I ignored those reviews and went with the fact that Samsung would not be selling this item if it was that bad.

The product is quick and simple to install, insert the TX Card into the slot on the Blu-Ray, plug the rear speakers into the correct port and then turn the wireless system & Blu-ray on - everything links together without pushing any buttons and a quick test of the speakers from the Settings menu on the HT-E4500 showed the rear speakers to be working loud and clear.

Watching movies really shows how great everything works with the audio coming out perfectly on all sources, no delay or sync issues, just pure 5.1 surround that blows you away like the wired rear speakers would if connected directly to the Blu-Ray player.

Would definately recommend these to anyone that wants to remove those couple of wires that are the hardest to hide around most rooms.

There are a few people complaining that it isn't totally wireless, please note that these are the people that DIDN'T read about and research this product. When it arrived, it took 5 minutes tops to set up, it is the perfect solution for me as running cables around the wall would be a non starter.

Highly recommended for a simple and clean look.

Bought with the Samsung HT-E5500 Smart 1000W 5.1 Channel Home Cinema System with Built-in Wi-Fi. VERY easy to set up, linked instantly and better sound that my old wired samsung home cinema system. OBVIOULSY they would have wires from the received to the speakers but none round the room which is the great thing. Highly recommended.

At first, it wasn't clear from the manual, but the SWA-500 includes the transmitter that slots into the back of the HT-E5530 / HT-E5550 (maybe other models too). It converts the rear speaker pair into wireless speakers between the unit and the blu-ray. You still run a wire to the SWA-500 and the speaker.

I couldn't tell any difference in the sound quality whether using the SWA-500 or directly connected to the blu-ray.

After fitting woodern flooring but forgeting to bury wires this was a life saver.

Its a bit misleading when the product is referred to as " Wireless Rear Speaker Adaptor kit, when it is not. The rear speakers have to be wired back to the adaptor box and is plugged into the power point. However the sound quality when paired with the Home Theatre system is very good
