Got this for my bedroom TV. I have it mounted in the roof space, picture is excellent. Even get good HD channel picture on Freeview HD channels.

Where I live poor weather sometimes causes me to lose satellite signal. This aerial was bought as a back up so I can watch Freeview on such occasions. I installed it in the loft. I had also bought a TV signal strength meter but didn't even need it. I pointed the aerial in the right general direction and the my Panasonic plasma indicated 10 for signal strength and quality. The aerial was easy to assemble and everything necessary was included in the kit.

this was very easy to set up in loft picked up 250 tv and 60 radio channels on a cheap freeview portable,aerial is quite big but for what it costs and what it does who cares

Very flimsy, certainly not suitable for an external chimney. Mounted it in the loft but the signal was far worse than with the old aerial, so sent it back.

Bought this to replace a shorter roofspaced aerial which had been permanently powered. Now have great picture without the
need of wasted electricity on the previous aerial. Well packed, good instructions and cheap at the price. Go for it.

I decided to get this Aerial for my lost so i could watch tv in my bedroom, it came with a outside mounting set if you wanted to put it up on the roof.

it picked up all the channels with a good signal even in a poor signal area so very pleased with this buy would recommend it to anyone who is looking to do the same as i have.

Bought this after reading the reviews and the price. Item arrived quickly and assembled pretty swiftly too. Put aerial into loft and directed it towards transmitter - connected up - Tuned TV and have 98 - 100% signal quality and around 65 - 70% signal strength. Not even attached to roof strut just lying on a shelf between struts! Simple to do really. I live in a bungalow in a good signal area. My old roof top outside aerial could only get up to around 70% quality and 60% strength, it eventually gave up and I could only receive about 8 channels. With the new aerial I am getting 115 good quality tv and radio channels.

I HAVE FINALLY INSTALLED THIS AERIAL AND IT WORKS A TREAT.WITH THE ADDITION OF 6FT TUBE, HD WALL BRACKET AND A DIGITAL SIGNAL METER.IT DID TAKE A COUPLE OF HOURS TO DO THE WHOLE JOB,BUT IT WAS WORTH IT,AND THAT INCLUDED REMOVAL OF THE OLD ONE.IT IS STRAIGHT FORWARD TO PUT THE AERIAL TOGETHER,BUT TIME CONSUMING, TO DO THE WIRING RIGHT.I WOULD RECOMMEND A GOOD WIRE STRIPPER AND A SMALL CROSS-HEAD SCREWDRIVER, TO DO THE JOB EASILY.WHEN USING THE MOUNTING CLAP SUPPLIED,FOR THE TILTING ACTION,I WOULD RECOMMEND A 8MM SOCKET TO TIGHTEN IT UP.WHEN SETTING UP THE DIRECTION OF THE AERIAL,I LOOKED AT THE NEIGHBOURING ROOFS,AND SET IT TO THE SAME DIRECTION.I WAS LUCKY, IN THAT IT WAS AT FULL BARS ON THE METER FIRST TIME AND I CAN NOW GET THE FREEVIEW HD CHANNELS ON THE TV.IT IS A LONG AERIAL TO BOLT TOGETHER,BUT AS IT GETS ALL THE FREEVIEW HD CHANNELS,ITS WORTH IT.

Required a loft aerial for my extension to use with freeview. Didnt have much idea what to buy since they mucked around with the tv transmissions and went digital. Looked at quite a few reviews first and decided on this one.
Takes a bit of time to put together on a big table as aerial is quite large and just fitted in my small loft but
reception is absolutely perfect. Put together and fitted in loft in about 2 hours. TV was up and running immediately.
No adjustments just look at what direction all the local aerials are pointing. Not too expensive to buy was delivered as stated. Would reccommend, good quality, easy fit and at a good price.

I have installed this in my loft, it gives good digital freeview reception. I renewed the aerial cable at the same time. Only comments I need to make is that this thing is GIGANTIC, it is surprisingly large so you need to make sure you have room for such a large antenna. I say this because it is very "directional". Altering the direction by even 5 degrees resulted in an appreciable loss of signal strength. so you may find that there are limited options in your loft for where you can install it. Other than that I endorse what has previously been said; you should only partially assemble this before taking it into the loft because when fully assembled it will not pass through the average trapdoor.
