For the price this is excellent. No hesitation in giving it 5 stars. It is basic, no fancy height adjuster, minimal inputs, no through put, but I just need it to project strongly and it does that fine.

this is my first time writing a review but when i recieved this i just had to write one, what most people say about this projector is true its execeptional value for money and it is soo versatile, granted the throw distance isnt great and as i have a small room where i have the projector so it was a bit of a nightmare trying to set it up to get a big screen so a bit of a tip, i used a high quality mirror mounted opposite the screen and put on rear projection to mirror the image back and i mounted the projector over the screen facing the mirror granted i know this isnt a conventiol use but before you all think thats madness i compared it before and after and theres no difference in quality but i managed to get a 120" screen in a 10' room which is impossible otherwise (i was getting a 72" screen by mounting the projector at the back of the room)..
i have the 3d working and its mind blowing on that size of a screen soo close to you.. the other dissapionting thing about this projector is the lack of a hdmi port but i have a hdmi to vga adapter which works a treat to connect my sky+ hd...

i would definatly sugest this projector to anyone in the market for one but on a budget

Got this as a Christmas Present !! Thought it was Brilliant the Picture is great even in daylight ! Its cheap Simple to set up great delivery service ! the only thing it doesn't give you the cable if you want to project from a macbook! It has no HDMI Either to play Xbox or Ps3 on you need to buy separate cables for it !!. Over all this projector is great if you just want to Display moves on your wall but for gaming you need different cables.. The Price if the bulb goes in them is 83-100 Pounds i Think i would rather buy a different projector that has all the ports Needed

Great projector, bought it for my room, and now I have a huge screen with very clear display. Ipad videos can be beamed to stunning clarity.

great little projector for small rooms for powerpoint etc, the zoom is not brilliant, but still good quality one a big screen

i bought mine to use as a tv , for the first month i got the unit it was running well :) but after that things have been getting worse :(
A repair case was opened and on that page it says that i purchased the projector in march , i didn't it was in june , so get on the phone and can just about understand the email address i was given. Had to send a copy of recept before they would change the date even though i had to send this also with the unit.
Any way the unit was flickering very bad after 187hours use in 1 month , the unit went in with the remote and power cable that was asked for . unit comes back 4 days later - no problem with acer so far but when i get the unit back i find that the remote and power cable where missing . i would not have been bothered about the remote but the woman told me on the phone to put the projector into floor projection mode before sending so i did thinking i would get the remote back after. so opened another case about this over the phone on friday 3rd august . tuesday comes and still no response so rang again and they said quote " we haven't even looked at this case yet " and " ring us back in 2 working days " ( what im going to do today )
still no sign of the remote and projector is still sat in corner doing nothing , lucky i kept my sony vpl ex4 :)
but all they did was put 2 dust filters on what is ment to be a " MAINTENANCE FREE " projector

Had this product for about 7 months. Had problems with occasional flickering of image, and more recently fan failure. The fan appears to have stopped working so it looks like I have to pay to ship it back for repair. Therefore, it's unreliable with two faults - should have bought a more expensive item and it may have lasted!
Update - returned to Acer and customer service experience was good, with pre paid collection and return. However, they did not fix the problem first time and it had to be returned a second time. First, I think it's only fair to say that my rating of this projector is purely based on its inability to meet my expectation to use it to watch 3D movies.

I bought this projector (Acer 110P) to watch 3D movies but I found out that I couldn't connect it to my Sony Blu-ray player because the projector had no HDMI port. Selling it as a 3D projector is a lot misleading, I think.

Apart from that, the projector is an excellent bargain at its price. The picture quality is outstanding. In fact, I had the privilege of comparing its picture output with that of a more expensive BenQ, and this projector came out the winner. I tested it in the middle of the day in summer with the window curtains wide open, but it sill produced outstanding pictures.

In summary, if you're just looking for a low-budget projector with outstanding pictures, go for this one. But, if you want to use it to watch 3D, look for another one.

Good product do not delay! I have transfered from a hd 22 luxor tv onto this. I have not connected in to tv yet not sure if you can. Have connected it to xbox via a scart-rwy and the quality of image is the same as a tv without a hdmi. Noise level is suprisingly low (less than a running xbox). Colours are vibrant and can be seen fine with light on, although with window on and bright sun it suffers a little. Great quality for price comes with vga and remote and has a good quality build / finish. Packaging and delivery with amazon prime next day(free!) Via dpd(?)
