This is an excellent little pen. It writes very well. It is also comes with a gift box, so it is a perfect gift for all ages.

Although it is small - about the size of a man's index finger - it's very well made. If you don't lose it, it should last for years.

Never again will you have to worry about the ink drying up like in a cheap biro. Also it comes in very handy when you need to take a note where you don't have a table or something similar to lean on. When you hold a piece of paper against a wall and write on it works perfectly.

As others have said, it is small so you have to be careful not to lose it.

This pen appears pricey for what it is, which is basically a simple metal tube, with no clip for holding in a pocket. It certainly seems strong and well made, but it is not particularly comfortable to write with, as for me it is too thin, and has to be used quite upright otherwise starts to scratch. If you need the benefits of the space pen ink, you could just buy a refill at £4.95 and put it in a Parker or similar. However if you really need a small almost indestructible pen then it fits the bill.

Excellent. Convenient to carry in your trouser pocket. Also have a silvery one but there's a better grip with the matt. The normal refill which comes with the Pen tends to blob sooner than it should. I change it to a fine point which always works well.

While it may seem like a lot to pay for a pen used on a day to day basis it is worth every penny to be able to pick up a device that works every time. No more scribbling back and forth to start the ink flowing if it ever does.
The pen, when closed, is very compact.It is in fact about half the size of a regular pen when closed. When open the pen cover goes on the back of the pen to form a full length pen of normal diameter. The pen is very pleasant to the touch, a bit like gun metal though it is in fact a matt finish. The ink is black and very smudge proof. When assembled for use it feels very comfortable in the hand and as if it is in one continuous piece. Closed in it's bullet form it seems fairly indestructible in normal use. Very safe even in trouser pocket or hand bag. The only danger is it is such an attractive writing instrument someone is liable to "accidentally" forget to return it. You just have to get them to buy their own instead, that is what I am doing with my wife though in a different colour just in case she loses hers.

I had one of these years go , then lost it. Taken me a while to replace it,In this day and age of cheap and plentiful pens it is outstanding and small enough to fit in the crease in my wallet. Disregarding all that ridiculous hype about 'pens in space, Apollo missions etc.' it really is a good quality product which is a joy to write with.
I was wondering if I should get the clip to stop it rolling around, but it would spoil the line of the pen I reckon and mostly get in the way. Instead I have put a tiny patch of black tape ( but cello tape would do ) about 5mm wide on the lid of the pen, its all but invisible, but the edge of the tape is just enough to stop the pen rolling off the desk all the time- works fine, the pen now stays where I put it

purchased this pen a few months ago. has not let me down. it does what it says on the packet! bought with clip - slide on clip only, and it does slip off and is easily lost! I use it now without clip. otherwise a perfect pen.
