Great compact size, sleek and smart .3d blurays play amazingly clearly with great effects due to 3d.great value for money.

Easy to set-up , amazing picture , 3D spot on , looks nice , very small and sleek looking. Smart feautures naff but if you want a basic 3D blue ray player that looks nice then get this.

This does have any of the SMART feature listed in this advert. You cannot download apps, surf the internet or stream films. It comes with 3 basic apps which are the weather, You Tube and Picasso, only You Tube is of any interest. As a basic DVD/Blu Ray player I'm sure its fine but don't buy for the SMART features as there are none. Can't understand previous reviews which mention thousands of apps etc I actually spoke to LG who confirmed this does not do any of that. Mine is already being returned. Very disappointed in Amazon for the wrong description.

Bought this to use primarily for DVDs but upscaling is good and we will likely buy blueray disc now too. We have also connected our external hard drive and can now more easily access the pictures, films and music directly onto our living room TV.

I purchased this player after reading a number of reviews which suggested it had more features than it actually has. I ordered it knowing I was taking a bit of a gamble so i'm not too bothered it wasn't what I expected. It's a lovely unit and a very compact size. Setup is really easy and it looks nice and well built. The reason I purchased it was to see if it could play my music and movies stored on a NAS box (QNAP TS412). Unfortunatly this unit does not support playing back content over a network. One of the other reasons for buying was to watch Netflix and LoveFilm without having to go through my PC or WII. Again this unit does not support NetFlix etc. When you go into the premium content all you have is Picasso, You Tube and AccuWeather.
So in summary a nice looking compact unit but could really do with a software change to give it the extra features.
I puchased the 620 soon after this and it has all the features mentioned above and lots of content on the premium channel.

First impressions are it is a nice little player, it looks good, the audio/video quality is good and its quick to load. The product description however is incorrect; specifically:

"...there are plenty more applications available at the LG App Store. You can even stream content over your home network to open up limitless entertainment possibilities. The LG BP325 3D Blu-ray & DVD player has plenty of options for you to enjoy."

The LG BP325 Blu-ray player cannot stream content over your home network and you cannot download applications from the LG App Store. The player comes with 3 apps of which none are particularly good.

This product was bought as a gift over other products specifically to stream content over a network and access apps such as BBC iplayer, Lovefilm etc. so am very disappointed with my purchase.

Despite the product description stating you can download lots of apps you are not able to. It comes with only three apps weather, YouTube and photo viewer. Very dissapointed as purchased this is as a Christmas present for my parents to use with lovefilm. I have returned and purchased a Sony bluray player at a similar price.

Do not buy under any circumstances:
1) it does not come with a hdmi lead.
2) Smart TV is misleading comes with three useless lg app accu weather.com which is pointless if I want to know the weather I will look on my phone. Picasa web album which again is pointless I don't want to look at its pictures an art gallery it is not 3) You tube not bad but not great.
3) You can not load content/ apps on this device and cannot browse on the internet so to say it is a Smart blu ray player is misleading.
4) Up scaling on this device is also poor.

I am giving this blu ray player away to my mum, your be better off using a Sony PS3 or hooking up your PC tower to your Tv than buy this rubbish.
