First impression was that the DVD player was absolutely huge. It was no smaller then my first DVD player which I owned about 10 years ago. When I put a DVD in the noise it made was loud enough to annoy me over a normal volume of sound. The DVDs were also unwatch-able as the DVD player skipped every couple of seconds. I know it was a cheap price but it was unusable. Had to return. 1.0 out of 5 stars Toshiba 2010 DVD with USB, 30 Dec 2012

Was quite pleased when it arrived and quickly set it up and tried a DVD in it then a CD, which both worked perfectly. Sat down a few times and watched a few short DVDs, up to an hour long and no problems. Decided to watch the DVD Papillion and it began to grind away and freeze, then start for a minute or so and freeze again. Tried playing a CD and that was ok for the first 10 tracks, then it started skipping. Tried both DVD and CD in my old cheap Alba player and both worked without any problems. Ok if you only want to watch a DVD for an hour it seems. 3.0 out of 5 stars It works!, 28 Dec 2012

But I am slightly disappointed because I have not been able to play my American DVDs on it and the manual is quite limited! 4.0 out of 5 stars Light weight and compact, 26 Dec 2012

DVD player was as described. Easy to connect to simple to use. Only negative is that it is sold as a universal player, but needed to look up the code to make it universal on a blog because information was not provided. 4.0 out of 5 stars Toshiba DVD Player, 24 Dec 2012

Excellent DVD Player - Promptly delivered and reasonably priced. I would have preferred a smaller more portable one but that was my mistake 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

This DVD player is a perfect buy. Great price and a great player. We did need to use the code to unlock the regions as mentioned in previous posts but it worked the first time with no complications. Now we can watch all our DVDs from home without any worries. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

The DVD player is fine and working but the power cord is tiny so I have had to use an extension so it can reach the plug! Not impressed. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

No fuss, no nonsense piece of equipment. I have a very old tv with 1 scart connection. Plugged it in and got going straight away. Just have to work out how to play cd's and watch tv at the same time. Well worth the money. What Other Items Do Customers Buy After Viewing This Item?
