Bought this set for my mother and it is a nice enough tv and it will be fine for a bedroom which is what it was bought for. But note that the sound on it is very tinny even after going through the menu to alter the options. Its not just me being fussy, it will probably be the very first thing that hits you as a first impression about this set. Also note that the description here on amazon is somewhat ambiguous about its energy rating. In one place it says it is rated A and in anther it says B. I can however confirm having set this set up in my mothers bedroom that it is definitely rated at B and NOT A so i assume the person who posted the item copied and pasted it from another set and didn't correctly edit it. Probably will not be a major consideration when deciding to buy or not but it is best to have the correct facts before you when making your decision I always think :-)

I read that the sound was awful for this LED TV but discovered it was not bad, set on movies. I returned back the additional bought speakers.

What is awful; is the stand. Excluding that, it's a great little piece of technology & worthy of the money.

I can't fault the performance of the Samsung TV. What I would suggest is that you register your product by post. Initially Samsung were unable to find my product on the internet registration. So, I sent them an email through their "contact" section. So far, no response. I guess the best plan is just to hold on to your receipt from Amazon receipt and hope the set performs ok.

As you will note, this "review" is mainly directed at the OEM rather than the set's performance which as I said earlier seems to be OK.

Just be prepared to have problems with the Samsung Web Site.

This TV is ideal for wherever a 26 inches + television would prove too large. It has good image quality, feels well built and is a bargain.
Below are some considerations I have made since receiving it:

- Plethora of image and sound options available (and they are a lot!), so make sure to fiddle around in order to get the best image and sound output once out of the box
- In my particular case the image and sound presets weren't up to scratch (so again make sure to go through all the options and see what fits best your situation)
- This TV features a specific backlight options which optimises LED backlighting in cases where your viewing angle might be below or above the TV. In the case of the bedroom this is PERFECT!
- Very well thought after menus and interface, it even includes an on screen manual (handy for whenever you need to do something, and can't find the paper manual)
- Considering the size and price it has a decent feature set: 2 HDMI PORTS, SCART, USB (for music and photos from pendrive or self powered external HDD), CAM (for DT reception)

The only negative point I can honestly raise about this product is about the included stand which doesn't feel as solid as the Tv itself, though I might be nitpicking since in reality the Tv did not wobble or sway when I had to move the furniture on which it was set.

So all in all a very good product, easily recomendable!

A VERY GOOD VALUE FULL HD LCD TV. VERY ADEQUATE FOR A BEDROOM, BUT NOT THE EASIEST TV OPERATIONAL MENU, BUT ONE CAN GET USED TO IT! I LIKE THE TWO HDMI SOCKETS TO ENABLE A PERMANENT CONNECTION OF A HI PERFORMANCE BLURAY DVD PLAYER.
PICTURE QUALITY MATCHES WELL BLURAY DVD PLAYER STANDARDS.
THE SOUND ON FLAT SCREEN TV'S IS RARELY "HI-FI".
THIS ONE, LIKE MOST, CAN BE "TWEAKED ABIT" TO MAKE IT ACCEPTABLE AT LEAST FOR A SMALLER ROOM /BEDROOM.
I THINK IT LIVES UP TO SAMSUNG'S CONSISTENT REPUTATION FOR HD FLAT SCREEN PICTURE TECHNOLOGY. ANYWAY SHOPPING AROUND ENABLES ONE TO BUY AT A FAIR PRICE!

I noticed many reviewers had picked up the poor sound quality with this set but decided that the other features still made it a good buy.
In fact the sound quality was worse than I expected - no changes in settings etc. could get rid of the distortion. Anyway - a cheap set of computer speakers soon fixed everything but, surely, decent integral speakers wouldn't add too much to the price?
