Delighted with this TV. Fairly easy to set up, though fitting the stand really needs two people as recommended in the installation instructions. Once the stand was in place, the automatic programme installation procedure works very well and the set was fully operational very quickly. It has a wide range of functions and inputs to suit most people's needs. As I have not been able to view a picture transmitted in full 3D ( I am awaiting the Queen's speech on Christmas day ) it is difficult to comment on just how good the 3D effect is. One can view standard 2D images and get a 3D effect when wearing the glasses supplied, but sometimes the image looks a little odd. For example, a footballer lying on the ground can appear as if his head is slightly separated from his body, but there is some sort of appearance of a 3D image, though it is not all that strong and depends on the viewing angle ( best viewed perpendicular to the screen ). However, it may well be that when a true 3D image is being transmitted , a much better effect will be seen. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

This tv would have got a 5 score. The only niggle is that I have it linked to the LG BH7420P Home Cinema System bought at the same time and to switch between tv reception and dvd requires resetting between aerial and hdmi each time. This is a nuisance. Apart from that, the picture is so good. The sound is surprisingly good given that such a narrow set is a nightmare for speaker designers. 5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, 23 Dec 2012

I am very happy with the item as not only did the product arrive before the estimated delivery date but also was easy to set up. excellent service and excellent products from LG.Im particularly impressed with the sound quality of the tv which i thought was really good. Excellent image quality. and over all...BEAUTIFUL! slim and sleek too!
I got the 32LM620T so remember when purchasing the tv to also buy a LG dongle to connect to the internet and the magic remote as they wont be included with the tv (you have to buy them seperatly)
Right now im looking for a good blu-ray player (you will need this or a cable box or sumthing else....forgot?)
4.0 out of 5 stars amazing.,.. with its flaws though, 21 Dec 2012

purchased this primarily as i was taken away with the 3d hype! and that i had subscribed to enough packages on sky to warrant a free subscription to the 3d channel...3d? hmmm didnt really tickle me, the odd moment of 3 dimensions but not enough... probbaly why i ended up getting a 3d projector lol!well recieved the tv... the 1st thing i watched was a footy match .. wow, now i mean wow in a bad way, because all i could see was horrible streaky white bands from top to bottom, a bit like background interference,it would get worse when the camera panned quickly, so bad that you would find it hard to make out what was going on, i did a bit of research and realised this is a common fault called banding... so i got amazon to replace....second tv is worse than the 1st !! so onto the 3rd replacement, which is bad but i can live with it !!
remember.... if you are a football, cricket ( anything played on a field) lover then id recommend going for something else as the banding will end up driving you mad.,.. go for a tv 600hz + !!
anyway thats the bad part, the above issues only affect watching sport!! apart from that this tv is amazing !! the pic is crystal clear , thats an understatement, its almost life like ! at 1080 hd !!
my old tv was a 720p and the difference between the 2 is astonishing!
then theres the smart functions! again AMAZING! fast...smooth, great features along with netflix, bbc iplayer and lovefilm what more can you ask for !!
also .... do not go for the magic remote ( around 45 quid ) as, there is an app for android and iphones which transforms your phone into a magic remote with pretty much the same functions !!!
so all in all.... if you are a sports lover, football especially then id get something else! if you love your movies and anything in high def, then this is definately for you !!!
5.0 out of 5 stars All very Good, but 3D is a gimmick, 21 Dec 2012

For the value, essentially every aspect of this tv is good, including a 3D. Note however if you want it connected to your computer and it play 3D, you may need additional software such as Power DVD to play 3D Blu-ray and Nvidia 3DTV Play to view games in 3D. Other 3D content such as side my side 3D will work fine with the appropriate 3D. Note Nvidia cards can only display games in 3D up to 24Hz, if you want to take full advantage of 3D gaming then get a monitor compatible with Nvidia 3D vision (see: [...], This makes use of the higher refresh rate to display 3D with use of active shutter glasses, which means this tv is not compatible due to its max refresh rate not being sufficient (60hz).PS3 3D works fine for both film and Game, HUGO looked amazing).
Live 2D to 3D conversion is not that great, with little noticeable change , its uses some algorithmic magic but its early days and proper 2d to 3d conversion is normally a intensive hands on process that produces supierior results, i.e. Titanic 3D
Freeview is great, includes following HD channels: BBC One HD, BBC HD, ITV HD and Channel 4 HD.
I like the smart feature, Netflix and iplayer work well, would like to see 4OD however, although this can be accessed through the YouTube app or browser.
One day 3D may get better, I know there development in japan making 3D more akin to a hologram in that you can see around the image, as opposed to a fixed 3D image current technology displays.
But this TV as TV is really good.

I bought this to go in a newly created 'cinema room' and it lives up to all my expectations. With a little patience and a lot of time it can be configured to suit many environments. I have a Panasonic plasma as our main TV and this is as good and in some respects better than the Panasonic - the browser and apps are much better and include iplayer, come on Panasonic get your act together. The 3d is much better than the active alternative and is both engaging and easy to watch without the flicker I can detect on some active systems. I've had it for a month and so far really impressed, so glad I splashed out on the 65inch it is well worth the extra.

This TV was delivered sooner than expected which is great as my previous TV needed to be thrown ASAP, the picture is amazing! the 3D jumps out at you! the only bad thing i can say is that the YouTube app seems to be buggy on my TV? other than that, its perfect! 5.0 out of 5 stars I do love this TV, 18 Dec 2012

Really amazed with this TV, the picture is great when not in HD, even more amazing in HD, the IMAX 3 D is fantastic, the normal 3D is brilliant, well impressed, if I could afford another one I would get one for each room. 5.0 out of 5 stars GOOD JOB LG, 17 Dec 2012

This is a product worth recommendingpros.
hd quality is 100%
3d is picture perfect
3d gaming is brilliant as is the dual play function(no more split screen)
sound quality is good compared to other makes i have had
smart tv is a great bonus
4 hdmi
3 usb
cons.
sd quality is poor to average
remote is not great(especially when using the smart functions)
wifi dongle not bundled
all in all for the price i payed £560&£25 for the dongle this is as good as it gets
i cant find a beter 3d smart led T.V for the price
Im very pleased with this buy
the main issue is that the sd quality is a bit poor but as i watch most programs now in HD this is not an issue
gaming has taken on a whole new level with the 3d rendering and the awsome dual play....playing 2 player games now with the whole 42inch screen is great

This TV is great. The up-scaling from DVD to HD is fantastic picture sharp and clear. My only niggle is the sound is a bit flat, it is the only thing that lets it down in my view, don't get me wrong the sound is good, just a bit flat. I suppose it is what your are used to.As far as the picture goes, my wife complained it is too good. The 3D is amazing, you get a real feel of depth.
All in all I am very pleased with my new TV.
